We collect the minimum information needed to respond to business enquiries and to send content you have explicitly asked for — nothing more. This page states, item by item, what we collect, why, and your rights.

Enquiry and battery-assessment forms

When you submit an enquiry or the battery-assessment form, we receive the details you enter — name, company, work email, phone, country, your application and any sizing details you choose to give — and any specification or tender files you attach. Purpose: to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and sizing, and for subsequent business correspondence about your requirement. This information is emailed directly to our engineering and sales team; attached files are transmitted as email attachments and are not stored on this website — they are removed from the web server once the email is sent. Our email is operated on Google Workspace. Correspondence is retained as ordinary business records.

Newsletter and calculator access

If you request our battery capacity calculator or subscribe to our updates, we collect your email address with double opt-in: you receive a confirmation email and are subscribed only after you click it — that confirmation is our record of your consent. The address is stored in this website’s mailing system and used solely to send the content you subscribed to. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

WhatsApp and email correspondence

If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms; our email runs on Google Workspace. In both cases we use your contact details only for the correspondence you initiated and related business follow-up, and we retain it as ordinary business records.

Spam protection

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical signals (such as browser characteristics) to distinguish people from bots — described in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum — and by Akismet, which checks submitted form content against known spam patterns, operated by Automattic under its privacy policy.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. The only cookies that may be set are those strictly necessary for security (the form protection above). Our hosting provider (Kinsta) keeps standard, short-lived server access logs for security and performance. If this ever changes — for example, if we add advertising measurement — this page will change first, and where the law of your country requires it, you will be asked for consent before any such cookie is set.

Your rights

To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, write to info@microtex.com with the subject “Data request”. Requests go to our designated grievance contact and are answered without undue delay. These rights apply to everyone who writes to us, wherever you are. For persons in India: we operate under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules; once the Act’s grievance provisions are fully in force, you may escalate unresolved complaints to India’s Data Protection Board.

Visitors outside India

Your data is processed in India by the team that answers your enquiry, on the systems named above. We honour access, correction and deletion requests regardless of your location, through the same contact.
