Industrial batteries for the duties that forgive nothing
Underground mines. Grid substations. Nuclear backup. Fleets that clock in every shift. Microtex engineers batteries for the applications where failure is not a line item — built in Bengaluru on our own tubular plates, from our own alloys, oxide, gauntlets and separators. European-class engineering without the European invoice.
Indian Patent № 587320 — Approved vendor: NPCIL · BARC · Indian oil companies — CPRI type-tested ranges — Seismically qualified OPzS (IEEE 344)
Choose your duty

Mining
Vented lead-acid increased-safety traction packs for MUVs, scoops and locomotives — over 15 years supplying underground fleets in India & Africa. Battery and matched charger, one responsibility.

OPzS Flooded
When a substation trips or a grid must restart, the DC system runs on OPzS — 2V flooded tubular cells, 100–3000 Ah, seismically qualified per IEEE Std 344 at CPRI.

OPzV Gel
Sealed tubular gel for hot climates and remote sites — solar, telecom and oil & gas standby where watering rounds cannot reach. The maintenance-free 2V cell for hard geographies.

Motive Power
Forklift, golf cart and access-platform batteries — deep-cycle tubular cells, C5-tested at CPRI, built for the third year, not the first test.

2V AGM VRLA
Sealed 2V cells built up to 5,000 Ah — UPS halls, hospitals and control rooms. High-rate, rack-mounted, with a 200–5,000 Ah approval pedigree.

Rail
Bred on Indian Railways duty — signalling, coach and locomotive batteries, with starter fleets running from India to South America.
Evidence, not adjectives
Our 2V OPzS cells are seismically qualified — Resonance Search, OBE and SSE per IEEE Std 344:2013 at CPRI Bengaluru, witnessed by NPCIL QA. Our traction cells carry CPRI capacity tests at the honest C5 rate. Our factory makes its own alloys, oxide, plates, gauntlets and separators — so every claim traces to a process we own. Certificates, report numbers and tender packs live on the Downloads shelf; the engineering philosophy lives on the Solutions page: our job is not to sell you a battery, it is to solve your problem.
“You don’t sell batteries, you sell Microtex.” — Dr. Michael McDonagh, Chief Technical Officer
