Golf cart battery — deep-cycle monoblocs that finish the season

A golf fleet is a traction fleet in polite clothing: two rounds a day, every day, on batteries the guests never think about. Microtex builds 6V, 8V and 12V deep-cycle monoblocs on tubular plates — type-tested at CPRI — for golf resorts, hotel fleets, campus shuttles and utility vehicles, in India and export markets.

Why fleet carts need traction plates, not car batteries

A car battery delivers one strong second and hates being drained; a golf cart drains its battery deeply twice a day. That duty sheds the plates of automotive batteries within a season — which is why serious fleets buy deep-cycle monoblocs built on tubular positive plates, the construction that holds its active material through thousands of daily cycles. The physics is on our technology page.

The rest of fleet economics is discipline: charge fully after the day’s use, water at the end of charge with clean water, and store the fleet properly in the off-season. Our proposals arrive with that one-page discipline attached — it is the cheapest life extension a fleet manager will ever buy.

Questions fleet managers ask us

6V, 8V or 12V blocks — which should my carts use?

The cart’s system voltage and battery bay decide the combination — 36 V and 48 V fleets are built from different block counts, and fewer, larger blocks generally mean fewer connections to maintain. Send the cart model and bay dimensions; we quote the right combination with weights and connectors.

How should a seasonal fleet be stored?

Charged fully before storage, kept cool, and refreshed with a charge during long off-seasons — a lead-acid battery self-discharges slowly and suffers if left flat for months. Resorts with winter closures get a one-page storage routine with our supply; follow it and spring start-up is uneventful.

How long do golf cart batteries last?

Fleet life is written in the charging shed: depth of discharge per day, full recharges versus habitual partial ones, watering, and heat. Tubular deep-cycle blocks reward discipline with seasons of service — tell us rounds per day and charger type, and we will state the expectation for your fleet honestly.

Can you match my existing fleet’s batteries?

Photograph one battery’s nameplate and the bay, note the cart model, send both through the enquiry form — dimensions, weight, terminals and price come back the same working day.
