Availability by truck voltage
A forklift battery is built for the compartment it goes into, so there is no stock list to be out of: any voltage below, any capacity in the cell range, delivered in 21 days. The clock starts when the order is confirmed against the truck and compartment details, which is why the three things listed further down are worth sending with the first message.

Terminals bolted or welded; batteries supplied factory-charged or dry-uncharged. The capacities are at the five-hour rate at 30 °C — the rate motive duty actually draws and the rate at which CPRI Bengaluru capacity-tested our cells in 2025. Dry and filled weights and acid volume for every cell type are stated in the quotation, so the tray weight can be checked against the truck’s ballast requirement before you order.
The three things to send
Send whatever you have of the three; the first reply comes within the working day and the quotation carries dimensions, weight and the charging specification.
- The truck model — or a photograph of the old battery’s nameplate, which usually carries the make, the cell type, the voltage and the Ah.
- The compartment — length, width and height in millimetres, or the outside dimensions of the old tray; and the old battery’s weight if you have it, because in a counterbalance truck the battery is also the ballast.
- Voltage and Ah — if the nameplate is gone, the truck’s own plate gives the voltage, and we size the Ah from your shift length.
Helpful, but they can follow later: hours of use per shift and the charging window, the connector type, and how many batteries you need.
Buying a forklift battery — the three things that actually matter
1 · Fit and weight. The compartment fixes the cell standard — DIN or BS — and the tray dimensions, and in a counterbalance truck the battery is also the ballast, so a minimum weight is part of the specification, not a suggestion. Send the truck model or the nameplate and we confirm fit and weight in the quotation.
2 · Honest capacity. Compare batteries at the five-hour rate (C5) — the rate motive duty actually draws and the rate at which our cells were capacity-tested at CPRI. A battery flattered by its 20-hour rating will disappoint before the shift ends; our guide to C-rates explains why.
3 · The charging room. Batteries rarely die of work; they die of charging — the wrong finish, chronic undercharge, water added at the wrong time, heat. Our quotations arrive with the charging and watering discipline attached, and our engineers talk to your charger supplier before the first shift, not after the first claim.

Report numbers and ULR references are quoted in our documentation. The alloys, the oxide, the cast spines, the pasted plates, the gauntlets, the separators and the containers are all made in our own works in Bengaluru, which is why a technical question about any of them is answered from the shop floor the same day. The plates inside are the European-class tubular construction explained on the technology page — the reason a Microtex battery is still pulling pallets when a flat-plate battery is pulling budget.

What do you need to quote a forklift battery?
Three things: the truck model or a photograph of the old battery’s nameplate; the compartment or old tray dimensions in millimetres, with the old battery’s weight if you have it; and the voltage and Ah. Hours of use per shift, the charging window and the connector type help us size and fit the battery correctly, but they can follow later.
Can you match my truck’s existing battery, even an old or discontinued one?
Yes. Our cells come in DIN and BS sizes and the tray is built to the compartment, so a battery from a maker who no longer supplies is a routine job. Photograph the old nameplate and the compartment, note the truck model, and send them through the enquiry form or by WhatsApp; the reply comes within the working day with dimensions, weight and price.
How long does a forklift battery last?
The honest answer: it depends on the depth of discharge per shift, the quality of the charge, watering and heat — the same traction battery can live twice as long in a disciplined charging room as in a careless one. Send your shift pattern and charger details and we state a life expectation for your duty in writing, instead of a brochure number.
Is opportunity charging acceptable?
Sometimes, and ruinous at other times. Done knowingly — the right charger, the right windows, the temperature watched — it serves multi-shift operations; done casually it shortens a battery’s life sharply. If your operation needs opportunity charging, say so in the enquiry and we engineer for it rather than object to it later.
When and how should the battery be watered?
At the end of charge, never before it: levels rise during charging, and an overfilled cell pushes acid out, inviting tracking and corrosion. Use clean demineralised water only. The full watering round is one page of our manual, and it costs almost nothing beside the life it adds.
What warranty comes with the battery, and do you supply chargers?
The standard warranty is 12 months from the date of invoice; project terms are as stated in the offer. The charging specification comes with every battery, and we can advise on or supply charging equipment matched to the battery — ask in the enquiry. A right-sized charger is half the battery’s life.
